Size Matters

What is a micron? A shorter word for micrometer. It equals one-millionth of a metre and one-thousandth of a millimetre. Examples: ✔️ a strand of hair is approximately 50-120 microns in thickness ✔️ a sheet of paper is approximately 100 microns in thickness
